Delete your account

You can ask your company's HR team to close your Morning Hive account and delete your personal data. HR decides, because some records belong to your employer.

How it works

  1. Sign in to your account (in the app or on the website) and open this page, or Profile & settings > Delete my account.
  2. Say why, and confirm. Your request goes to your company's HR team.
  3. HR approves or rejects it, with a comment. You are told either way.
  4. If approved, your sign-in is closed at once and your personal files are deleted. You get an email when it is done.

What is deleted

  • Your sign-in account: you are signed out everywhere and can no longer sign in
  • Your profile photo and any other photos you uploaded (check-in and feed photos)
  • Your punch selfies
  • Your location history recorded by the app
  • Your phones and browsers signed in, push notification tokens, two-step sign-in and passkeys

What your employer keeps

  • Payroll, payslips, salary and statutory records (PF, ESI, tax): your employer must keep these by law
  • Attendance, leave and expense records, and your employee record itself
  • The history of who changed what in the company's records
